How to write a blog post

A blog is based on posts. A blog can’t survive without posts. If you don’t write anything for people to read, nobody will visit your blog anymore. In general, you create a blog because you are interested in a certain subject or because you want to make your thoughts and believes public. You decide what the blog’s theme will be and you start writing in your virtual journal. Once you have decided to post your articles on the internet you must be aware of the fact that you have a certain responsibility. You might say that it doesn’t matter what and how you write and that nobody is obliged to read it. However, things are not as simple as that.
If you don’t care about people’s opinion why did you put your articles on the internet? This activity is a sign that in fact you want people to read your blog. Everybody that owns a blog wants to have visitors. In order to maintain or even increase their number you have to improve the quality of your articles. This can be done in many ways.
Don’t forget that an article has to express something; it doesn’t matter that it is positive or negative. The idea is that what you write has to be interesting enough to produce emotions. Those who read what you write have to feel something and to remain with some sensations. Nobody will remember a boring and uninteresting article.
Another important ingredient that you have to introduce in your writings is personal experience. People react to life stories, to honest thoughts etc. Be sincere and talk about you. Tell everybody what you feel and why. Make them understand a part of your life and let them enter your world. Write about things that really matter to you and tell the stories that have changed your life. Give pieces of advice to your readers as if you were their friend.
Your posts should begin in a very original tone. Begin with some lines that grab the attention and that introduce the readers into your world. Make the reader understand right from the beginning what the post is about so that he can chose whether he is interested in it or not.
Many bloggers use some unconventional methods in order to gain more visitors. They often write about sexual themes and they use obscene expressions. Sex sells best on the internet and that is why a blog created on a sexual theme has many chances to become successful in a very short period of time. You have to know that everything is allowed on the internet so it is your choice what you write about.
Pick up a subject that you love most and sell it to the people the best you can. Write correctly and originally and make at least one post a month. People who share your passions and believes will join you on the blog and you will see that your visitors’ number will seriously increase in time.
